Ms. Hounam is an experienced and adaptable Business and Accounting Professional with over 12 years of demonstrated and proven history working in the energy, engineering, architecture, and industrial inspection industries.  Kara has experience providing analytical and research support on various energy industry projects, including regulatory rate-making processes for natural gas and electric utilities that involves expert witness testimony and reports.  Her client project work has focused on supporting class cost of service studies, revenue requirement analysis, revenue proofs and forecasts, rate design, as well as affiliate cost allocation reviews and overhead capitalization rates.  Prior to joining Atrium Kara was employed by CHA Consulting, an engineering and architectural consulting firm and as a Senior Auditor for KPMG, LLP.  Ms. Hounam is highly effective in supporting the achievement of Atrium’s organization goals, through the analysis and development of standard processes and procedures, insightful reporting, and solutions to improve decision making and bottom-line success.
