Senior Analyst – Energy Industry  

Atrium Economics is a management consulting firm focused on North American energy industry specializing in utility regulation, financial advisory services, clean energy transition and clean tech commercialization, asset and infrastructure optimization, and litigation support. Formed in 2020 by industry experts with decades of experience, Atrium Economics is growing quickly and looking for a motivated analyst candidate to join the team and contribute to a wide variety of consulting engagements.

Responsibilities: 

This individual will support Atrium’s project and business development efforts by conducting economic and financial data analyses, regulatory research, staying up to date on and interpreting the latest industry trends and developments, and generally ensuring projects are completed successfully. Some of your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Work collaboratively to ensure projects are successful

  • Create models and analyze data using Microsoft Excel and other quantitative software tools

  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of analyses and other client work products

  • Conduct, document, and report on industry research using subscription-based data services as well as publicly available data sources

  • Synthesize research into client reports, white papers, and drafts of expert witness testimony

  • Commit to delivering value-added consulting services to clients

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 1-3 years’ experience in economic analyses, regulatory research, data manipulation and financial modeling either at a consulting firm, at a utility, or at a public utilities commission 

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, as well as an interest in learning about the Utility industry

  • Candidates with demonstrated experience in regulated utilities and a strong understanding of the Utility industry are ideal

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to summarize information and communicate effectively will lead to success in this position
