Cody Kleckley
Consultant
Mr. Kleckley has over six years of experience in utility regulation and the energy industry. He has served at the South Carolina Office of Regulatory Staff as an auditor and senior auditor, and as a technical advisor to Commissioners at the South Carolina Public Service Commission. As an auditor with the Regulatory Staff, he worked directly with utilities on fuel and rate filings. The technical advisor position involved review of Commission filings, including rate case filings, fuel adjustment clause filings, integrated resource plans, purchased power agreements, demand-side management and energy efficiency programs and tariff review. Mr. Kleckley has submitted testimony before the South Carolina Commission on matters relating to rate cases, revenue requirements and fuel proceedings. Prior to his work with the South Carolina Public Service Commission, Mr. Kleckley was employed in public accounting where he performed audits and reviews for local governments, school districts, universities, and non-profits. Since joining Atrium, Mr. Kleckley has worked on a variety of projects including cost of service and rate design, as well as alternative ratemaking mechanisms such as decoupling and weather normalization. Mr. Kleckley holds an Associate Degree in Accounting from Midlands Technical College and a BS in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina, where he majored in Finance and Accounting and graduated summa cum laude. Mr. Kleckley is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in South Carolina, and his office is in Lexington, South Carolina.
